Jeju Apple Mango 제주 애플 망고 - approx. 3kg
The apple mango from Jeju is medium to large and has colours ranging from yellow to orange to red. The juicy yellow flesh is of excellent flavour, very sweet, up to 20 brix, and the texture is free from the fibre. Sweeter and more fragrant than your typical mangoes, Jeju apple mangoes are highly prized for their taste and aroma.
The mangoes are usually eaten as it is or added to salad, desserts, ice cream, smoothies, and shakes.
As apple mangoes are a luxury premium fruit, Korea Shilla Hotel has been promoting ‘Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu(제주 애플망고 빙수)’ every summer. People sometimes call it ‘AeMangBing(애망빙)’, the abbreviation of its full name. They use apple mangoes from Jeju Theme Farm, where provides their products to Inter-Korean Summit. Shilla Hotel gets the mangoes from them to win-win with local farmers.
Black spots on mangoes? - please note.
As the mango ripens further, there will be incidents of black spots or 'sugar spots' as we commonly called them. They are just like bananas that have sugar spots appearing when they ripen. Please do not worry as the mangoes can still be eaten.
Expiry: Keep in the chiller up to 5 days.
For all pre-order items and fresh produce like fruits and fresh mushrooms, we regret that there is no refund, cancellation, or return once orders are placed to our supplier on Mondays when pre-order closed.
When you place a pre-order, we will create a special reservation with the manufacturer or supplier for you. Because of this, it is currently not possible for us to cancel a pre-order. If you do insist on a cancellation, then a surcharge of 70% of the order value will be imposed.
For SoGood Thursday Pre-Orders, please reach out to us immediately should you change your mind. Please contact us, call or email ASAP by 6pm on Monday of the week of delivery, as we will send in the order to import your items then.
For Frozen Items, in any case of receiving a wrong item, as long as the product is NOT consumed, left untouched (Thawed,Frozen), We will determine whether the item has meet our requirements and eligible for an exchange, or a refund. Any wrong item received that has a difference in price will be partially refunded depending on the situation.
