Adore is opened by Chocolatier Jang Gayoung in Seoul, South Korea, just like its shop’s name ‘Adore’ strives to sell chocolates that are made with love. Adore’s representative chocolate is their petal shaped signature classic chocolate. After much consideration, and with trial and error, the shape of the signature chocolate is inspired by a softly curved silver plate from a traditional French silverware brand, Ercuis, and is used currently in-store at Adore to display the chocolate on the Ercuis silver plate.

The signature chocolate, when packed in a box, it looks like a flower in full bloom.

How to store your Adore Signature Chocolate

  • Keep in refrigerator at all times.

How to enjoy the Adore Signature Chocolate
  • Leave the chocolate at room temperature for about 30 minutes in advance so that it's not too cold, and enjoy it with a cup of warm tea. The taste and aroma of the chocolate better.

 

About the flavours Adore and Bang-A

Adore flavour
A chocolate that combines a rich scent of Quince from Cheongdo, Fruit-scented yellow pepper grown in Ethiopia's alpine regions, a brandy made of French dairy products and apples in Normandy, and a unique acidity of Grenada cacao.

Bang-A (Korean Mint)
This herb, which is mainly eaten in South Gyeongsang Province in Korea, is similar to foreign mint, and Japanese shiso, but has a different scent. It is a chocolate that has a fresh citrus flavour different from fruits, combined with organic lemons from Jeju Island and cacao with the acidity of red fruits from Madagascar.

Chef Jang Gayoung

Jang Gayoung Chocolatier’s Adore symbolises ‘Lovely’, ‘Really like it’ in French. It is a name that is chosen with a heart that loves chocolate. Most of the ingredients used, except for the chocolate, are herbs, vegetables, and seasonal fruits grown pesticides-free in Korea. In particular, the use of herbs and flowers by using the chef's farm of farmer Lee Jang-wook located in Namyangju, creates a unique flavour for Adore’s signature chocolate. In addition, artisan soy sauce made from generations to generations is used, and Korean herbs are used to pursue an irreplaceable flavour that cannot be found in foreign countries.

If you do insist on a cancellation, then a surcharge of 70% of the order value will be imposed.
