Salty tomato. DaeJeo Jjap-i tomato 대저 짭짤이 토마토(1kg)
Grown by Farmer Kim Taeheon who has been continuing a 30-year tradition of tomato farm for two generations in Daejeo-dong, Busan. These salty tomatoes must pass through a strict standard of Daejeo Agricultural Cooperative to use the name. These Daejeo JJapjji which has passed the strict standards are selected and sent on a strict basis. They are produced at the mouth of Nakdonggang River with an average temperature of 15°C annually. The tomatoes grow in the winter where temperature is around 5°C, adjacent to the sea with a large sunlight exposure as compared to other regions.
These salty tomatoes are both sweet and salty tasting, and the smaller the tomatoes, the tastier they are. Using high-quality and fertile field with salt and organic minerals, the tomatoes are sent freshly on the day of harvest. The tomatoes are sent out when its 60% ripe; therefore it is green in colour. Eat it after it turns orangey-green in colour for its best salty, sweet and sour taste.
How to enjoy the tomatoes?
- You can cook it with eggs or cook it with soup.
- They are also good with tofu and drizzle with olive oil to make a tofu salad.
Storage method: Store it in a cool place, eat it as soon as possible.

When you place a pre-order, we will create a special reservation with the manufacturer or supplier for you. Because of this, it is currently not possible for us to cancel a pre-order. If you do insist on a cancellation, then a surcharge of 70% of the order value will be imposed.

For Frozen Items, in any case of receiving a wrong item, as long as the product is NOT consumed, left untouched (Thawed,Frozen), We will determine whether the item has meet our requirements and eligible for an exchange, or a refund. Any wrong item received that has a difference in price will be partially refunded depending on the situation.
