The Premium Organic White (Heuk-Hwa-Go) and Black (Baek-Hwa-Go) Shiitake mushrooms are 100% grown in pure Oak Wood in a natural oak forest with natural winds, temperature, dew and the fragrance of nature. Handled by the farmers, with 70 years of tradition for three generations, full of confidence in their quality, processed in hygienic production facilities.
Dried Shiitake Mushrooms contains not only Vitamin D, but also various vitamins and minerals such as calcium, selenium and dietary fiber.
Shiitake grown in high humidity are Black shiitake, whereas the valuable 5% White shiitake are grown in dry conditions with low humidity.
The drying process starts with harvesting of the shiitake mushrooms in early mornings and then dried in the sun for 1-2 days before drying them further in a dryer for 2 more days. The sun-drying process produces enough Vitamin D and allows for longer storage.

How to use:
Rinse the mushrooms lightly under running water and soak in lukewarm water for 30 minutes to 1 hour. After soaking, cut the tops off the mushrooms and it is now prepped for cooking.
Do not dispose the water as it contains the umami taste dissolved from the dried shiitake mushrooms.
Ways to cook:
Stir-Fry, Soups and Stews, Stuffed mushrooms, with Rice, Noodles or pasta and more!
How to store:
Avoid contact with air as it may cause mold and insects to appear. Keep sealed and stored in a cool, dry place out of sunlight or keep in chiller for up to a year.
For all pre-order items and fresh produce like fruits and fresh mushrooms, we regret that there is no refund, cancellation, or return once orders are placed to our supplier on Mondays when pre-order closed.
When you place a pre-order, we will create a special reservation with the manufacturer or supplier for you. Because of this, it is currently not possible for us to cancel a pre-order. If you do insist on a cancellation, then a surcharge of 70% of the order value will be imposed.
For SoGood Thursday Pre-Orders, please reach out to us immediately should you change your mind. Please contact us, call or email ASAP by 6pm on Monday of the week of delivery, as we will send in the order to import your items then.
For Frozen Items, in any case of receiving a wrong item, as long as the product is NOT consumed, left untouched (Thawed,Frozen), We will determine whether the item has meet our requirements and eligible for an exchange, or a refund. Any wrong item received that has a difference in price will be partially refunded depending on the situation.
